The Resistance - Refillable Daily Face Moisturizer + 100% Mineral Sunscreen

This is the best sunscreen lotion I have ever used. It has a really good feel, a little goes a really long way and it actually feels normal on your skin with no slimy residue or cakey buildup. The only bad part is my wife likes it too, so I keep running out. Highly recommend.

Nope. It’s 100% mineral and it still disappears into your skin — zero white cast, no chalky ghost face.

Hell no. The Resistance is non-comedogenic and formulated without pore-clogging garbage. No breakouts. No congestion. Just protected, healthy skin.

It really, really is. 100% even — no chemical filters. SPF 43, lab-verified, which is higher than most daily moisturizers with SPF in them.

Absolutely. Our formula is mineral-based and free from oxybenzone and octinoxate, so it’s gentle on your skin and on marine life. We’re fighting Mother Earth here, not dolphins.

Yep. It’s lightweight and non-greasy, so it won’t gum up your beard. Just rub it in thoroughly to reach the skin underneath for full protection — because Mother Earth is gunning for your face skin, not your killer beard.

Dispense a few pumps into hands and apply to clean, dry face with fingertips. Use daily—ideally after showering or as part of your morning routine.

Works great

This is daily use sunscreen as described. This isn’t for outdoor sports or anything like that. This is designed for normal daily activities like errands, shopping, or lunch on the patio at the bistro. It has the amendments of a daily skin care regimen paired with a light mineral sunscreen. There doesn’t seem to be any harsh sunscreen additives that might burn the eyes.It is not greasy but leaves the skin with a healthy sheen. It does Very Slightly lighten my skin until it is fully absorbed or cured to the skin.I like that there is no odor of added scents. It’s very clean feeling. It leaves my skin feeling cared for rather than shielded, if that makes sense.Very Nice!

All the stars! This is a legit moisturizer & sunscreen 2-in-1

The creatives for this product deserve a round of applause. I love the label and the unique spin on Mother Nature. There is some truth to her being out to get us.As for the sunscreen it’s easily 10/10. I wore it on a 3 hour drive in my husband’s classic convertible on a hot 85 degree sunny day. This is the first time I didn’t end up with even a smidge of sunburn. Besides a healthy glow I wasn’t red or anything. My skin looks great and I’m a believer in my H.o.E. Moisturizing sunscreen.

Pricey but I like it, good for face

I got this mainly for the name and message so the marketing team gets a win for sure. I find the idea of an adversarial mother nature and earth humorous. As to what it actually does, I think its seems to work pretty well as a sunblock. I put some on my face the other day when I knew I was going to be out in the sun and I didn’t burn so a win there. It says it has a broad spectrum SPF 43. That’s seems an odd number to be so accurate but at least it’s a number. It doesn’t smell fruity or coconutty so I think it’s nice to not smell like the beach during the day.Otherwise I don’t really see much else special about the product compared to other sunscreens. Yes, it absorbs well and it doesn’t take much but you don’t get much in this little bottle. You will go through this quickly especially if you are applying it every 2 hours like it says you should. And yes, it seems to have moisturizing things added into it but I think most other face sunscreens do as well. I will continue to use this but at the same time I can’t say I will swear by this stuff either.

Easy to apply, works great!

I'm a really big fan of this moisturizer. I've had issues finding a daily moisturizer with sunscreen built in. This has been the best one I've tried by far. Most other ones feel heavy, and smell strongly of sunscreen. This one does not!It barely has any scent to it. It's light, goes on extremely easily and works great. It does not feel heavy on your face. It's very light and comfortable. If you need a daily, with sunscreen built in. This one's for you.

Doesn’t irritate my eyes

I know I should use sunscreen more often, but I usually get irritated when I put it on my face. I decided to give this a try to see if it was better than what I’ve used before, and guess what? It is!The brand name makes me think of goth or heavy metal bands who don’t like the sun. The bottle is a nice, heavy pump bottle. My first time using it, I just used it on my arms. My skin felt like I had a light moisturizer on, and it gave off a slight shine right after I applied it. Soon after, I didn’t even notice the sunscreen. Then I mowed the lawn and didn’t get any sunburn even though I was out in the midday sun. The second time, I wore it on my face and arms on an even hotter day, and the same amazing results! Usually, when I get hot outside and start sweating, the sunscreen I usually use irritates my eyes, but that wasn’t a problem with this one.The only thing I wish is that it was cheaper, but when I think about how much better I feel after a bad sunburn, it’s worth the price.

Great mineral sunscreen for under makeup/daily wear

The media could not be loaded.

Luxurious daily sunscreen, with random SPF 43 protection, in a convenient pump. This blends into your skin immediately with no ghostly white cast or greasy residue. It's perfect under makeup and stays in place, without leeching into my eyes or running my makeup at all. Great for daily wear! There's also hyaluronic acid in here for that skin plumping, moisturizing boost. But the zinc oxide really does it's job here without burning your eyes or leaving you with a clown face. I absolutely recommend this!

Not super greasy, but might lack some active ingredients 🤔

I'm always looking for good skin care stuff that also helps protect my skin from this blistering sun that we get here in Florida. I decided to try some of this hell on Earth moisturizer and sunscreen since it has a fairly high SPF of 43 and it's 100% mineral. However, I was a little disappointed with the active ingredients of the zinc oxide which is only 1%. But after reading online, it said that we should use sunscreens that have zinc oxide in it that have a minimum of 15%.The sunscreen is definitely not super greasy, but I'm not going to kick my normal sunscreen to the side because I feel like it provides better protection of my face from the harmful rays of the sun.

Mineral SPF That Actually Works

been using this for a few months and it's stuck. lightweight, absorbs fast, no greasy feeling. most zinc sunscreens leave that chalky white cast; this one doesn't, which was always my excuse for skipping spf. doubles as a moisturizer so one less thing in the morning. great product!also, the packaging and branding is great. has a lot of personality, and you can tell a lot of thought went into it.

Marketing Sounds Good, but Ingredient Check Was Concerning

My husband and I surf a lot, so we’re always looking for reliable mineral sunscreens because of how much sun exposure we get. This one sounded promising since it claims to be 100% mineral with SPF 43, and also includes skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid and squalane. However, after receiving it, I checked the ingredients using the Yuka app, and it scored only 26/100 (“Poor”), which was disappointing! Some of the ingredients flagged by the app are associated in certain studies with potential endocrine-disrupting effects. For me personally, especially as someone focused on hormone health, that was a major concern—particularly for a product used so frequently and over large areas of skin during surfing.Because of that, I decided not to use it.Pros:* Mineral sunscreen concept (zinc oxide-based)* Includes hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and squalane* Airless pump packaging is convenientCons:* Very low ingredient safety rating on analysis apps* Some ingredients flagged as potential endocrine disruptors* Not aligned with my personal safety standards for sunscreenOverall:Even though the idea of a mineral SPF moisturizer is great for surfers, the ingredient profile raised enough concerns for me to avoid using it.

Fairly Low Mineral Sunscreen Actives Best Used Indoor as Facial Moisturizer

Over the years, we’ve been hammered on how important sunscreen is but the US has been slow in approving new sunscreen filters. Thus, our choices for UVA protection are limited to Avobenzone (long-wave UVA), Zinc Oxide (UVA and UVB), Titanium Dioxide (UVB and short wave UVA), and Ecamsule (UVA). For face, I strongly prefer mineral sunscreen despite its white cast particularly Zinc Oxide as avobenzone tends to either irritate my eyes or break me out and the patented Ecamsule is expensive / limited. As such, I was initially excited to try Hell on Earth’s 2-in-1 Daily Face Moisturizer + Mineral Sunscreen SPF 43 which is touted to be non-greasy with zero white cast.My Impressions and Notes:1. Though the black airless pump packaging seems to be geared to male consumer, the neutral rice-like scent may very well appeal to all genders.2. The lotion-like moisturizer is light and absorbs well with no greasy residue. It doesn’t pill on my oily skin and works well with makeup.3. Note that the sunscreen is not water-resistant and the sunscreen pretty much melted while playing outdoor pickleball. The good part is that the sunscreen didn’t sting nor irritate my eyes.4. Though it is FDA approved, my major concern for solely relying on this sunscreen is the minuscule amount of active sunscreen filters, namely, 1% Zinc Oxide and 2% Titanium Oxide, and its use of chemical UVB boosters like butyloctyl salicylate to achieve the SPF 43 label. Most experts recommend minimum of 15% Zinc Oxide for strong broad-spectrum protection and other mineral sunscreen I’ve used contain at least 10% Zinc Oxide. I ended up using this as a facial moisturizer indoor and under a separate waterproof mineral SPF 50 sunscreen when outdoor.5. It’s my pet peeves when the listing doesn’t provide a full ingredient list; this should be a default for any skincare product listing as it would be an easy win-win situation between the seller and buyer by minimizing disappointment / returns due to concern for inclusion of certain ingredient. As PSA, I’ve attached a pic of the full ingredients (mind you I have to remove a sticker which is covering said ingredient list).

No white cast mineral sunscreen

I’ve tried a lot of mineral sunscreens, and this one really surprised me in the best way. Since it’s zinc-based, I fully expected the usual thick texture and white cast, but when I rubbed it into the back of my hand it blended in beautifully with no noticeable cast at all. That alone impressed me.I’m extremely sensitive to scents, and even “fragrance-free” products usually still have that odd sunscreen or chemical smell that bothers me. With this, I barely noticed any scent whatsoever, which made it much more pleasant to use.The texture feels lightweight and moisturizing without being greasy, and I love that it combines skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid and squalane with mineral SPF protection. The airless pump is a nice touch too because it feels clean and easy to use. This feels like a genuinely wearable mineral sunscreen for everyday use. It’s comfortable, non-greasy, and truly invisible on the skin. Definitely one of the better zinc sunscreens I’ve tried.

nice 2 in 1

This moisturizer and mineral sunscreen combo does an excellent job of simplifying a daily skincare routine without sacrificing performance. The 2-in-1 formula delivers both hydration and broad-spectrum SPF protection in a single step, making it especially convenient for busy mornings or travel. One of the standout qualities is how lightweight it feels on the skin—it absorbs quickly, leaves a natural non-greasy finish, and avoids the heavy white cast that many mineral sunscreens struggle with. The mineral UV protection is another major strength. With zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, it provides reliable defense against both UVA/UVB rays and blue light exposure while sitting comfortably on the skin’s surface. The formula feels gentle yet protective, making it a great option for sensitive or reactive skin types that may not tolerate harsher chemical sunscreens well. The skincare ingredients also help this product feel more like a quality moisturizer than just a sunscreen. Hyaluronic acid gives the skin an immediate boost of hydration, while squalane helps lock in moisture and maintain softness throughout the day. Green tea and bisabolol add a soothing, calming effect that keeps the skin looking balanced and refreshed.Another big plus is the clean, dermatologist-tested formulation. Being fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, and reef-safe makes it appealing for anyone looking for a more skin-conscious and environmentally mindful option without unnecessary additives. The packaging is especially well-designed for travel and everyday convenience. The airless pump system prevents leaks, keeps the product hygienic, and dispenses smoothly from nearly any angle, which makes it practical for gym bags, carry-ons, or daily use on the go.Overall, this product offers an impressive balance of sun protection, hydration, skin-friendly ingredients, and travel-ready convenience in one streamlined formula.

Nice thin moisturizer that doesn’t have the sunscreen smell or feel

The jury is still out on this one. It didn’t feel greasy, leave a cast, or smell like traditional sunscreen. It felt just like a thin facial moisturizer on my skin. It’s labeled as fragrance free. However fragrance free items typically have a smell just not added fragrance so it kind of smelled like cardboard. It was a very subtle smell so it might not be that noticeable.Overall, this would be nice and light for a face. However the instructions say you need a waterproof sunscreen if you plan on swimming or sweating. So this is probably good if you don’t really plan on being outside long. They had a man in the ad picture so this is probably supposed to be marketed towards men and the packaging is black with red.I’m a woman and appreciate the size of the bottle it can easily go in a bag if you need to reapply throughout the day. It comes in a pump bottle so if you prefer squeeze tubes this item isn’t for you.

Good Moisturizer and Sunscreen, but a Little Pricey

This 2-in-1 daily moisturizer and mineral SPF 43 is a convenient product for combining two steps of my skincare routine. I like being able to moisturize and apply sunscreen at the same time, especially on busy mornings. The formula feels nourishing on the skin and provides a nice level of hydration without requiring a separate moisturizer underneath. Having 100% mineral sunscreen is also a nice feature for daily sun protection. It's a bit pricey for the amount of product, especially if you're using sunscreen every day and need to apply a generous amount.Overall, I like the convenience and the combination of moisturizer and mineral SPF, but I would love it more if it were a little more affordable.

Goes on clean and doesn't irritate eyes

Good stuff. I'm outside doing trail work or riding pretty often, so a good sunblock is important. Works as advertised and doesn't leave a residue when applied, and doesn't sting my eyes (Helpful when working in the hot sun!).

Light, no residue sungreen and moisturizer - highly recommend

Trying to wear sunscreen more often. This daily 2 in 1 face moisturizer/mineral sunscreen is great so far. It’s comfortable, light, and is easy to apply bc it doesn’t leave a white film on my face. Feels hydrating all day. Highly recommend.

Everything a Moisturizer Should Be!

Combining a daily moisturizer and SPF into a single step has made my morning routine so much easier. It rubs in smoothly without leaving any greasy residue or white cast behind on my skin. My face feels genuinely hydrated throughout the day, and knowing I have solid sun protection built right in is a huge bonus. It is a fantastic, simple option for keeping my skin feeling great without any hassle.

Somewhat expensive, and didn't work on my sensitive skin

This 2-in-1 moisturizer combines a moisturizer with an SPF 43 sunscreen and ingredients include hyaluronic acid, an ingredient I look for in skincare products. It absorbs quickly and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy at all, and has no parabens or fragrances. It is higher priced than the moisturizers I usually get, but the idea of having the sunscreen in the product sounded great.Unfortunately, I can’t use it. I have sensitive skin and rosacea, and although I haven’t had problems with anything I’ve applied to my face for a long time, for some reason my skin didn’t like this product. I’m not sure I’ve ever used a product containing squalane and am reasonably sure I’ve never used a product containing Bisabolol, so possibly my skin just didn’t like one or both of those ingredients. I’ve tried this moisturizer several times over a period of several weeks, and each time I had to wash it off after 5-10 minutes because I was having discomfort, my face felt warm, and it was looking pink. The product may well work great for other people. But between the higher-than-I-like price and the way my skin reacted to it, it’s a no for me.
